It's first track day after only 300 miles at Donnington in April 1998.
No real problems but it did have a tendency to understeer and a lot of effort was needed to keep a tight line. This prompted me to make the first modification a 6mm Spacer under the rear shock mounting.

A crash at the Nürburgring in June 1998 rubbed the newness off and highlighted another shortcoming the front suspension. So I started to try and make some improvements and, from then on, I haven't stopped tinkering. Numerous modifications left the bike looking like this.
